Nancy C. Bacon
Nancy C. Bacon, 80, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born June 18, 1931, in Brook-ville, she was the daughter of Edward and Frankie (Smith) Crawford.
A homemaker, she also taught kindergarten at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg in the 1970s.
She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the Saxonburg Area Library. She delivered Meals on Wheels for more than 25 years.
She enjoyed reading and camping.
Surviving are her loving husband, John W. Bacon, who she married Dec. 26, 1953; her children, David (Beverly) Bacon of Gibsonia, Daniel Bacon of Butler, Jim (Susan) Bacon of Butler and Kate (Don) Smith of Lebanon, N.J.; six grandchildren; and her siblings, Edward Crawford of Los Angeles, Calif., Don Crawford of Aurora, Colo., and Mary Thomas of North Canton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
<B>BACON</B> — Friends of Nancy C. Bacon, who died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main, Saxonburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road Sarver, PA 16055, with Rev. Robert H. Wilson officiating.
