Harold E. 'Lloyd' Hinchberger
Harold E. “Lloyd” Hinchberger, 74, of Butler died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Butler, Nov. 4, 1936, a son of John and Grace Wise Hinchberger.
A 1954 graduate of Butler High School, Lloyd proudly served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Navy, and he continued to serve his fellow veterans for many years by volunteering and assisting patients at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center, now VA Butler Healthcare.
He is survived by four children and their spouses, Dave (LeeAnn) Hinchberger, Mark (Monica) Hinchberger, Chris Hinchberger and Heidi Hinchberger-Ligon (Paul Ligon), all in Georgia; seven grandchildren, Johnathan and Ian Wilmot, Trey Rozell, Katie Lynn and Ashley Hinchberger, Lisa Ivester and Garrett Ivester and his wife, Kayla; and a brother, Laverne Hinchberger and his wife, Jeanne, of Butler
A son, Jonathan B. Hinchberger, is deceased.
<B>HINCHBERGER</B> — Friends of Harold E. “Lloyd” Hinchberger, who died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, will be received at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today. A blessing service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. George Palick of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church will officiate.
