Man drives truck into ditch off Euclid Road
CLAY TWP — An unidentified man drove his pickup truck off Euclid Road and into a ditch Wednesday.
The West Sunbury Fire Department responded to the one-vehicle crash at around 5:30 p.m. The man said he was atop the hill when his tire caught the edge of the road, sending him off the road, according to West Sunbury Fire Chief Matt Wilson.
The man drove through one small tree and continued but hit a second tree squarely enough to send the truck spinning into a ditch.
Wilson said the man was the only person in the vehicle. He said Butler Ambulance Service also arrived at the scene, but the driver refused medical treatment.
The firefighters limited traffic by blocking both sides of Euclid Road. The vehicle was towed away from the scene at around 6 p.m.
