Glenn M. Thompson
Glenn M. Thompson, 70, of Sutherland Road, Harrisville, died at 1:51 p.m. Friday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born May 13, 1941, in Butler, he was a son of the late Fred M. Thompson and Maxine Yoder Thompson.
He was a lifetime resident of the Harrisville area.
Mr. Thompson retired in 2003 from Renick Brothers of Slippery Rock as a shop foreman. He currently was employed as a security guard for Pond of Zelienople.
Mr. Thompson was a Presbyterian.
He was an avid golfer and fisherman and a former raccoon hunter. He enjoyed fishing with his wife.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps.
He married Connie M. Kellerman Thompson on May 6, 1961, and she survives at their home. Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa M. Griffin and her husband, Matt, of Grove City and Tammy L. Thompson and her fiance, David Dufor, of Middletown, Conn.; two sons, Dale F. Thompson and his wife, Patricia, of Harrisville and Ralph E. Thompson and his wife, Jackie, of Lake Placid, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Bonnie Poole and her husband, William, of Polk, Jean Thompson of Kennerdell and Amy Martin and her husband, Roy, of Grove City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wayne M. Thompson.
