Ashley Nichole McCord, 17, of Foxburg passed away late Thursday afternoon at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness and complications following surgery.

She was the daughter of James and Vicky McCord, and was a member of the senior class at A.C. Valley High School in Foxburg.
