Madaline P. Walborn
Madaline P. Walborn, 86, of Concordia, formerly of Butler, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice unit at Concordia.
She was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Fenelton to the late Clarence Flick and Minnie Fennell Flick.
Mrs. Walborn was a member of the Community Alliance Church. She was a homemaker and a pastor’s wife. Mrs. Walborn was a member of the Butler County Amateur Radio Club, and she enjoyed playing the piano and organ.
Mrs. Walborn is survived by her husband, the Rev. Grant R. Walborn, whom she married Dec. 15, 1945; three sons, Gary Walborn and his wife, Kay, of Falls Creek, Pa., Donald Walborn and his wife, Joanna, of Mount Dora, Fla., and Ronald Walborn and his wife, Wanda, of Nyack, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Woodward and her husband, Art, of Braintree, Mass.
WALBORN — Friends of Madaline P. Walborn, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and also from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis L. Krajacic of the Community Alliance Church and the Rev.
