Danny Joe “Dan” Roycroft, 62, of Worthington passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Sept. 16, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Joe Roycroft and Amelia Seguin Roycroft.

Mr. Roycroft graduated from Monteray High School and earned a degree in biology from Texas Tech. He retired from Evergreen Nursing Center.

He enjoyed golf and watching football.

Mr. Roycroft is survived by one son, Jordan Roycroft of Pittsburgh; one sister, Calla Gay Knight of Chandler, Texas; two nieces, Erin (Knight) Eddy and Ava Knight; one nephew, B.J. Knight; and his stepmother, Linda Roycroft of Worthington.
