Lois Jean Bailey
Lois Jean Bailey, 60, of Patterson School Road in Grove City, formerly of Hubbard, Ohio, died Saturday in the emergency room at the Grove City Medical Center.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Aug. 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Bertha B. Wyer Rauschenbach.
She was a 1964 graduate of Hubbard High School in Hubbard, Ohio, and a 1979 graduate of the Williamsport Community College, where she received a degree as a licensed practical nurse.
Mrs. Bailey, a 40-year resident of the Grove City area, was an LPN at Orchard Manor in Grove City and at Autumn Grove in Harrisville. She retired in 1997.
She was a member of the First Church of God, Grove City. She also was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Sandy Lake.
Surviving are her husband, Fonnie C. Bailey, whom she married Dec. 1, 1967; two daughters, Marsha A. Howard of Grove City and Fonnie Lynn Womer of Montoursville; a son, Robert A. Bailey of New Castle; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A sister, Roberta Grantz of Hubbard, Ohio also survives.
A brother, Louis Rauschenbach, preceded her in death.
<B>BAILEY </B>— Friends of Lois Jean Bailey, who died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Barret, former pastor of the First Church of God of Grove City, officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
