Sweesy

Sandra K. Sweesy, 84, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at her home.

Born April 21, 1942 in St. Marys, Pa., she was the daughter of Charles Blakeley and Lucille Bachman.

Sandra had worked as a hairdresser at Irene’s in Saxonburg and as a clothing store manager at Irene’s in Butler and Sara J’s in Cranberry Township. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed camping and visiting with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. Sweesy, whom she married March 18, 1963; her daughters, Tina M. Sweesy, of Minnesota, and Tracy L. Sweesy Ogrodnik, of Montana; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Blakeley.

SWEESY — Per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services for Sandra K. Sweesy, who died Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.
