Born Nov. 10, 1934, in Butler, William was raised on the family farm, a place that shaped his strong work ethic and love of the outdoors.

On July 12, 2015, William married Linda Kildoo Nagy and together they shared a true love of many years.

William cherished simple pleasures. He loved farming, hunting and telling jokes that brought laughter to family and friends. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan (when they were winning).

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Pollack; his children, Kevin Pollack and his partner, Jackie Curtis, of Slippery Rock; Colleen Henderson and her husband, Eric Henderson, of Bradenton, Fla.; Pamela Huff and her husband, Tom Huff, of Butler; and Jodi Kildoo, of Butler. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.

William was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Nellie Heinz Pollack; a sister, Laura “Lollie” Cataura; a daughter, Jayneen; and a son, Bill Jr.; his first wife, Rosanna June Pollack; and his second wife, Kaye Pollack.

William will be remembered for his warm sense of humor, his love of family and the values he learned growing up on the family farm. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.
