Clara 'Peach' Miller

Clara "Peach" Miller, 91, formerly of Middlesex Township, passed away peacefully Jan. 9, at her son's house in Yuma, Ariz., while under the care of the Hospice of Yuma.

Born in Glenshaw in April 1918, Clara was a daughter of Edward Garrard and Mabel Rutledge Garrard.

She was a graduate of Shaler High school.

She married Leo Miller of Barnesboro, Pa., in August 1942. After Leo retired, they enjoyed traveling around the United States in their camper for many years.

Clara enjoyed gardening around their property, growing flowers and a large garden. She also was an accomplished seamstress

She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills.

Clara is survived by her husband of 67 years, Leo; her sons, Dennis Miller of Yuma, Ariz., and his wife, Lola, and Lee Miller and his wife, Regina, of Rockingham, N.C.; her grandchildren, Scott Miller, James Miller, Brian Miller, Angela Back, Christopher Miller and Jason Miller; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Wesley Garrard; and her sister, Jessie Coffin. She also is survived by her "other" Middlesex Township children, Rich and Cindy Loncaric, and their children, Meghan and Andy.

<B>MILLER</B> — As per the wishes of Clara "Peach" Miller, who died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, she will be cremated. She eventually will be interred with her husband at the time of his passing. No services will be held at this time.Arrangements are by <B>Sunset Vista Cemetery, Funeral Home & Crematory</B>, Yuma, Ariz.
