Nancy K. French, 81, of Connoquenessing, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026.

She was born in Elwood City on Sept. 5, 1944, daughter of the late James and Helen (Stickle) Drake. Nancy graduated from Slippery Rock High School.

Nancy enjoyed crafting, teaching and doing anything to help others. She was hospitable and loving to family. Nancy loved sharing her faith in the gospel of the Lord. Telling the story of the old rugged cross and the hope we have because of the Lord’s sacrifice.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Larry French, whom she married April 1, 1967; mother of Joseph and Andrew French, and Jill (Michael) Malone; sister of Ivan, David, Timothy and William Drake, and Mary Mayer; grandmother of Matthew (Savannah Potter) and Luke Malone; and great-grandmother of Michael Malone.

Along with her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Bobeck, and James, Robert, George, John, Samuel and Stephen Drake.

FRENCH — All services and burial for Nancy K. French, who died Friday, June 5, 2026, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
