Henry

James “Jim” Henry, 63, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026.

He was born in Butler on Nov. 11, 1962, son of the late Leroy and Helen (Reith) Henry.

Jim graduated from Knoch High School and furthered his education at Triangle Tech. He was employed at Gateway Engineers Inc.

Jim enjoyed rebuilding lawn mowers and his junior monster truck.

Jim was the beloved partner of Jeannie Walter for 37 years; stepfather of Kathy (Dan Cypher) Walter and Tim Walter; brother of Dwayne Henry, Ron (Cindy) Henry and Joyce (Scott) Emmel; and grandfather of DeZarae Walter, even though she always called him, her “Grumpy.” He is also survived by his faithful dog, Rufus; and a number of nieces and nephews.

HENRY — Family and friends of James “Jim” Henry, who died Sunday, June 7, 2026, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
