Drugs

Dr. Adalja has made a great stance for us to do as we please to our bodies. This certainly gets rid of alot of federal agencies. We wouldn't have to help anyone because one can do as one pleases to one's body and hey, if you get into trouble, oh well! Isn't that only fair? You did it to yourself. Same with people in financial trouble. All choices and personal preference. Why help now? If you see someone literally hurting themselves by drugs,etc.-well, it's his/her choice to do so - so live with it. We can all walk around in our little bubbles doing as we please to ourselves. Hey, it doesn't hurt anyone. Oh my no. The nerve to intrude in one's self-destructive nature - well, we are just emotional and need to wake up from our righteous pipe dream. Drugs, alcohol, any kind of self-gratification is all up to the individual so leave them in their squaller and get over it.

Sounds so indifferent that I wonder why we even care about our friends and loved ones. Wouldn't you recommend someone who is say...drinking radiator fluid to maybe...not do that? If someone is eating chocolate bars and doughnuts (think I am going to the store...sounds good) with a diabetic problem tell them to knock it off? Or do you just say...hey, I have no control over your issues. It's your body. Do as you wish.

If a teenager is on a destructive path, leave him alone? He's not hurting anyone but himself.

My last comment on this subject.
