Laurie from Butler writes, in her post, that "People (and children) are educated on all topics of contraception." I wish it were so. Very few schools have comprehensive sexual education and many are taught myths about condoms and oral contraceptives. All of these activities--which have been proven to be ineffective--are done with taxpayer money, allocated at the behest of the Religious Right, and are legitimate concerns for any taxpayer who is curious to see if their money is being spent in the best possible manner.
