A person was found dead from a gunshot wound in Center Township after an incident involving Pennsylvania State Police on Sunday, May 31.

According to a news release, state police responded to an unspecified address to carry out an arrest warrant. After police arrived the subject of the warrant allegedly displayed a weapon.

A perimeter was established around the residence and the state police Special Emergency Response Team was dispatched.

According to the release, when entry was made into the building the individual was found dead from a gunshot wound.

State police are currently investigating the incident.
