Are you sure your a Doctor? If so you are the most ignorant one I have ever met.(Hypothetically speaking of course) You are thinking within a box. It is my understanding (from your latest entry in your daily diary) that you are condoning individuals to use drugs (illegal or otherwise) in the name of Freedom. Because it is their right? And because it affects no one but them? (your words) What a gross interpretation of freedom. Please; allow me to inform you on something that almost everyone else is aware of. There is no freedom without the law of the land. Freedom itself is an illusion. Every thing you do affects someone else. People who drink and drive affect the people they kill on the road. People who do drugs affect their families, their communities, our health system and eventually the taxpayer. Drug addicts also affect the people they rob from to support their habits. Maybe they didn't teach you common sense in the government paid for college of your choice that you went to; to get your degree. I am glad that my tax dollars went to educate you and that you were probably chosen above my friends , neighbors and possible family to earn your degree with a government handout because of your ethnicity. I applaud you on your achievement of utilizing our system in a way that people who were born and raised here were unable to accomplish because they were not a minority or of an immediate foreign background; But you have to add common sense into your equations and that is something they don't teach you in government paid for colleges. I will excuse your ignorance on this matter as it is probably a learned behavior that you have acquired from your native land. Try mixing common sense with your posts. If you don't have any I am sure that many of the people on this forum will be happy to give you some, just remember to discriminate, choose between what is bad and what is good. Your reasoning of freedom - when properly understood- (your words) constitutes that a person doing drugs affects no one but them selves, How naive are you? Do you think that these people just stay at home? Evidently you do. Well allow me to drop another bomb shell on you. You can't possible believe that someone who is irresponsible enough to abuse their bodies with drugs is going to be responsible enough to think of others and stay off of the roads too can you.? That is illogical based on previous performance, In fact it is as plain as the nose on your face!! You need to see things as they really are "Doctor" and I feel privileged to be the one to drop the brick on your head (figuratively speaking of course) Legalizing drugs would open Pandora's box! Can't you see that? Next time you see a news story on some low life who broke into the home of one of our elderly citizens and beat them or killed them for drug money, think about what you are supporting. The next time you see a story on a family or an innocent individual that gets wiped out because of a drunk driver or a driver high on drugs, think about what you are supporting. Every person alive has an effect on the people they come in contact with and it is based on their actions. If their actions are responsible the affects are positive, if the actions are irresponsible , childish and selfish the effects are devastating. One last thing "Doctor" think of this post of mine as Common sense 101 the next time you try and usher in your brand of freedom to the masses. Regards, John
