Parker man has charges withdrawn in domestic incident

CHICORA — A Parker man accused of firing a gun inside a residence had a felony charge and two misdemeanor charges withdrawn after pleading guilty to a lesser charge at a Tuesday, May 26, preliminary hearing.

James W. Gamble, 62, pleaded guilty to summary harassment in relation to a March 23 incident on Division Road in Allegheny Township before District Judge Lewis Stoughton.

Gamble initially was charged with felony discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and two misdemeanor counts of simple assault. Police responded to the residence for a domestic incident involving shots fired.

Assistant district attorney Robert Zanella said the victim in the case did not show up to testify to the charges.

Gamble was represented by attorney Michael Zunder of Zunder and Associates.
