Marie Katherine Clapper, 24, of Garden Grove Drive, Butler, formerly of Wilkins Township, passed away Friday in her home.

Born in Monroeville, Sept. 7, 1984, she was the daughter of David F. Clapper and Sandra R. Ireland Clapper.

Marie liked watching game shows, especially "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy." She also enjoyed Winnie the Pooh. She loved the color purple.

After moving to Butler, she attended Clarence Brown School.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, David F. Clapper Jr. of Butler and Kevin M. Clapper at home; one sister, Erica L. Clapper at home; and two nephews, Tyler and Caleb Clapper of Pittsburgh.

<B>CLAPPER</B> — Friends and family of Marie Katherine Clapper, who died Friday, May 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. A blessing service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
