Police release more information from Mahood Road crash, 6 taken to hospitals

Three children and three adults were taken to area hospitals last week after a driver ran a stop sign at the intersection of Mahood Road and Sunset Drive in Center Township, according to state police in a Wednesday, May 20, update on the crash.

Police said a Dodge Caravan driven by Kayleigh M. Remaley, 25, of Dayton, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a F-150XLT, disabling both vehicles and resulting in six people being taken to hospitals.

Remaley and another passenger, Ryleah M. Davis, 19, of Kittanning, were transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with injuries of unknown severity. The three children, ages 1 through 5, within her vehicle were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with “possible” injuries.

Kenneth W. Roxberry Jr., 49, of Prospect, was driving the other vehicle involved, a Ford F-150XLT. He was also transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

Butler Ambulance Service and Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team also responded to the crash.
