Barbara Ann (Pritts) Schreier, 84, of Butler, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born June 10, 1941, in Tarentum, the daughter of the late Richard W. and Myrtle (Jackson) Watt.

Barb enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, gardening, crafting and most of all, being surrounded by her family.

Surviving are her four daughters, Denise Pritts, of Vandergrift, Deborah Steele, of Butler, Lori (Ed) Liebler, of Butler, and Melissa (Jeffrey) Beers, of Butler; her son, Robert (Lynne) Pritts, of Florida; 14 grandchildren, including spouses, Danielle (Erik), Dawn (David), Monique, Lee, Derrick (Brittney), Racheal (Jeremy), Bryant, Bailey (Aaron) and Colby; seven great-grandchildren; her brother, James (Barbara) Watt, of Curtisville; numerous nieces and nephews; and her best friend of over 50 years, Pauline (Daniel) Grubbs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Schreier; her son, Duane Pritts; and two brothers, Warren and Ronald Watt.

SCHREIER — Friends of Barbara Ann (Pritts) Schreier, who died Monday, May 18, 2026, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 22, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Grubbs officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
