Mars Area School Board approved a number of items during Tuesday’s meeting, including:

- Earlene Allshouse and Tory LaQuatra as track coaches, with $3,114 stipends each.

- Ed Shephard as a track coach, with a $3,150 stipend.

- The retirements of Joyce Doss, Susan Pizer, Sally Buszinski and Beth Lindsey.

- Removing Chad Laubach from the daily substitute custodian call list.

- The resignations of William Harper, Mandy Aiken and Daleen Paulsen.

- Amy Sivley and Abigale Newman as bus monitors for A.J. Myers.

- Aries Anderson and Christopher Whipkey as bus drivers for A.J. Myers.

- Jacob Dvorak as a PA Science Bowl Team volunteer.

- Eleven unnamed employees for various leaves of absence.

- Jennifer Logan and Kayla Uveges as long-term substitutes, with salary and benefits totaling $51,916 each.

- Perry Drum as a custodian, with salary and benefits totaling $35,014.

- Laura Robinson as a special education secretary, with salary and benefits totaling $37,013.

An executive session was conducted before and after the meeting for legal and personnel matters.
