Recognition will be given to all men for Father’s Day at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service at Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road.

The District NMI convention is at 9 a.m. Friday at the district center. Assembly begins at 6:30 p.m. with the ordination service. The weekend will conclude with the unity service at 3 p.m. Sunday at the district center.

Christ Community U.M.The Prayer Shawl Group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will meet at 6 tonight at the Hardwood Café.Pastor Jeff will attend the annual conference Thursday through Sunday.Ken Hiser will be the guest speaker for Sunday worship services. There will be light refreshments and visiting in Oz Hall after the 11 a.m. service.There is a basket in the back of the sanctuary for gift cards for new pastor Bruce Gascoine and his wife, Laurie.The food cupboard work team will meet at Covenant Presbyterian Church at 8:45 a.m. Monday.Also Monday, the community dinner work team will meet at 4:15 p.m. at the First English Lutheran Church.The outreach meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.Graham crackers and saltines are June’s food cupboard items.

Christ’s OutreachThere will be special music by Michele Huff at the 10 a.m. service at Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave.Items for the food bank for June are baking supplies.The Life Tree Cafe is at 7 p.m. today. The topic is prayer.
