The southbound lane of Route 19 near the Zelienople Bridge will be closed Wednesday, May 20, while the bridge undergoes preservation work.

The closure is expected to last until Aug. 21, with a brief reopening between July 2 and July 6 to allow for July 4 events.

Southbound travelers will be directed onto Interstate 79 while work is in progress. Northbound traffic will continue as normal throughout the duration of the project.

East and West Northview Drive will also be closed throughout the duration of the preservation work.

Allison Park Contractors, of Gibsonia, is the contractor on this project, which is expected to cost $1.9 million.
