Cranberry Township’s Mike Palano struck out five and did not walk a batter in a complete-game, 3-1 win over Pine-Richland in Eagle County League baseball play Thursday night.

Both teams managed just two hits. Greg Miller and Ben Follett both doubled for Cranberry, with Miller driving in a run as well.

• Adam Brydon homered and Rob Baumgartel singled and doubled twice in Pine-Richland’s 11-6 win over Wexford on Wednesday.

Jeremy Kobert added two singles in support of winning pitcher Steve Laylock.
