WORTH TWP, Mercer County - District Justice Lawrence Silvis heard the following cases April 14:

James P. Dujenski, 51, of Grove City was held for court on two counts of driving under the influence after a traffic stop Feb. 29 near West Main Street and Stuart Avenue in Grove City.

Dujenski was released on his own recognizance.

Gerald K. Norcross, 36, of Guy Mills was held for court for theft by deception and false impression after he allegedly accepted checks totaling $16,500 in September for an invalid timber contract. Norcross is in Mercer County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Robert J. Metheney, 32, of Stoneboro was held for court on two counts of DUI after a traffic stop Feb. 15 on Main and Broad streets in Grove City. Metheney was released on his own recognizance.

Hulbert E. Russell, 58, of Grove City was held for court for DUI and disregarding traffic lane after a traffic stop March 13 at South Center Street in Grove City. Russell was released on his own recognizance.

Samuel J. McClelland, 25, of Grove City was held for court for driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop Nov. 1 near Route 208 in Liberty Township. McClelland was released on $5,000 bond.

John S. Keeper, 48, of 331 Fairgrounds Road, Stoneboro, was held for court on two counts of DUI after a traffic stop April 4 in Mercer. Keeper was released on $5,000 bond with the condition that he refrain from using alcohol and is not present where alcohol is served.

Alan G. Coast Jr., 20, of Jackson Center was held for court for terroristic threats with the intent to terrorize, false imprisonment, harassment, and two counts of simple assault after a complaint was filed March 31 by Autumn Moore of Grove City. Coast was released on $1,000 bond.

Jeffrey J. Bartley, 27, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, was held for court for DUI, period for requiring headlights and failure to use safety belt, after a traffic stop Jan. 25 on Route 62 in Jackson Township, Mercer County. Bartley was released on $1,000 bond with the condition that he refrain from using alcohol and is not present where alcohol is served.

Tyrone E. Dean, 20, of Philadelphia was held for court on charges of criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance, carrying firearms without a license, having a firearm with the serial number removed, removing serial number from a firearm, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and having a controlled substance without a valid prescription after a traffic stop Feb. 2 on I-79 in Jackson Township.

Derrick K. Clanton, who was driving the car in which Dean was a passenger, fled the scene and was later found in a tree. His preliminary hearing is set for April 21. Dean was released on $15,000 bond.
