SLIPPERY ROCK - These cases were heard Tuesday by District Justice Clifford Woessner:

Thomas McManus, 36, of 644 Branchton Road, Slippery Rock, was held for court on two counts of driving under the influence after he was found with his vehicle stuck in the mud June 4 on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. McManus was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Sept. 7.

Mark P. Mansfield, 22, of 102 Valley Vue Lane, Slippery Rock, had his case waived to court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after a series of incidents in May at Hinds' Scrap Yard on Kelly Road, Muddycreek Township. Mansfield was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Sept. 7.

Matthew T. Shreve, 19, of 417 Spring Lane, Slippery Rock, had his case waived to court on charges of criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft from a motor vehicle, burglary, criminal solicitation and four counts criminal conspiracy in the May 23 theft of four-wheelers owned by Troy Grossman, of Centerville Pike Road, Slippery Rock Township, and by Curtis Jones, no address given. Shreve was released on his own recognizance. His arraignment is set for Sept. 7.

Elizabeth A. Gaiser, 18, of Prospect was waived to court on two counts driving under the influence, failure to observe a traffic sign, exceeding the speed limit, careless driving, littering and operating a motor vehicle as a minor with alcohol in her system after a traffic stop May 31 on Route 422 in Muddycreek Township. Gaiser was released on her own recognizance. Her arraignment is set for Sept. 7.
