WORTH TWP, Mercer County - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:

Doris K. Barber, 37, of Clarks Mills was held for court. State police charged her with driving under the influence, disregard for a traffic lane, careless driving, aggravated assault, simple assault and resisting arrest. The charges stem from a Jan. 28 incident of Route 62, west of Sandy Lake.

Gerald Berry, 55, of Grove City was held for court. Grove City police charged Berry with driving under the influence on Nov. 10 at the intersection of East Main and Broad Streets.

Steven L. Desko, 24, of Grove City was held for court. State police charged him with driving under the influence, speeding and careless driving on Nov. 24 on Barkeyville Road in Pine Township.

Jerome P. West, 23, of Grove City posted $5,000 bond. He was charged by Grove City police with driving under the influence and careless driving on Jan. 8 in the 600 block of South Center Street in Grove City.

Steven R. Lovejoy, 26, of Kennerdell was held for court. State police charged him with driving under the influence, disregard for a traffic lane and careless driving on Dec. 14 on Route 62 in Stoneboro.
