WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:
Connie S. Breese, 44, of Grove City waived her case to court. Grove City police charged her with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with the highest blood alcohol level, and failure to stop at a red light July 3 at South Center and West Main Streets in Grove City.
Matthew J. Griffin, 20, of Pittsburgh had his case held for court. State police charged him with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with the highest rate of blood alcohol content, driving under the influence by a minor, purchase of alcohol by a minor, exceeding the speed limit by 31 miles per hour, careless driving and reckless driving May 13 on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
Lennie Harvey Jr., 23, of Columbus, Ohio, had his case held for court. State police charged him with theft by unlawful taking. A purse containing $300 was taken July 21 from Howie's Pub in Jackson Township, according to documents.
Charles L. Hawthorne, 34, of Franklin had his case held for court. State police charged him with driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol content of .02 or greater, driving under the influence with a high rate of alcohol, four counts of disorderly conduct, disregarding traffic lane, and careless driving following an incident where a car hit a tree June 12 in Jackson Township. Hawthorne had a separate case held for court. State police charged him with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and harassment for an incident at United Community Hospital, where he was taken for blood content testing June 12.
Shane J. Wentworth, 25, of Utica had his case held for court. State police charged him with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of disorderly conduct following an incident where a car hit a tree June 12 in Jackson Township.
SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Micah J. Kelley, 20, of Slippery Rock waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University police charged him with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a high rate of blood alcohol content, driving under the influence by a minor, purchase of alcohol by a minor, no rear lights on his vehicle, and no headlights on his vehicle July 15 in Slippery Rock.Bruce A. Locke, 34, of Portersville waived his case to court. State police charged him with driving under the influence with the highest rate of blood alcohol content, operating a vehicle without a license, operating a vehicle without the required financial responsibility, and operating a vehicle without valid inspection following a motorcycle accident in Muddy Creek Township.
