WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:

Jack Allston, 54, of Tionesta had his case held for court. He was charged by state police in Mercer with official oppression, disrupting a meeting, disorderly conduct, and terrorist threats at a rehearsal for a recital on April 30 at the Church of Epiphany Episcopal Church in Pine Township, Mercer County.

Jason Gould, 34, of Cochranton had his case held for court. He was charged by state police in Mercer with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance on June 17 in French Creek Township, Mercer County. A house search turned up 175 grams of marijuana.

Alton Lumley, 53, of Grove City had his case held for court. He was charged by Grove City police with driving under in the influence, careless driving, and driving on the wrong side of the road on April 30 on South Center Street in Grove City.

Charles Marstellar, 40, of Sharpsville pleaded guilty to a charge of writing a bad check. State police in Mercer charged him with writing bad checks between April 16 and 22 to Wal-Mart in Grove City totaling $275.92. He was ordered to pay restitution.

Leann S. Wilgus, 35, of East Bangor pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia by state police in Kittanning on June 22 on I-80 in Pine Township, Mercer County. A charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana was withdrawn. She was ordered to pay $644.50 in fines and costs.
