Naomi J. Swanson
Naomi J. Swanson, 90, of Newhaven Court, Butler, died at 11:54 p.m. Monday in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born March 3, 1920, in DuBois, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Hanner and Mildred Hanner.
Mrs. Swanson was a homemaker and also worked part time in the clerical department at Troutman's department store.
She was a very active member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Swanson was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for many years, and she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts and cooking.
She dearly loved being with her family.
Mrs. Swanson is survived by three sons, Robert A. Swanson and his wife, Sara, of Warren, Pa., Bill Swanson and his wife, Mary Ann, of Butler, and Donald G. Swanson and his wife, Joan, of Portersville; six grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Swanson was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Swanson, who died Sept. 8, 2006; one sister, and one brother.

North St., Butler, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor James W. Dollhopf of the First English Lutheran Church officiating.
