SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:

Michael T. Botjer, 23, of Lake Ariel, Wayne County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence and careless driving, filed Oct. 12 by state police.

Maurice Carter, 20, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, was held for court on charges of false identification to law enforcement authorities, underage drinking and public drunkenness, filed Oct. 11 by Slippery Rock University police.

Eric J. Clark, 20, of Portersville was held for court on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, three counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, careless driving, driving without valid inspection and not wearing a seat belt, filed Oct. 6 by state police.

Bobbie Jo Goodman, 42, of Carnegie, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, not stopping at a red light, following too closely to another vehicle, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed Sept. 27 by state police.

Daniel Robert K. Hilliard, 20, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Sept. 16 by Butler County detectives. Hilliard was ordered to pay $543.50 in fines and court costs.

Bradley A. Kelly, 23, of North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed Oct. 25 by SRU police.

Darlene M. White, 60, of Lyndora pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana, filed Sept. 21 by state police. White was ordered to pay $592 in fines and court costs.

Baptiste was ordered to pay $474 in fines and court costs.Kent Craig, 27, of Chicora waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed Oct. 13.Georgette Fleeger, 39, of West Sunbury waived to court two counts of forgery and charges of theft and driving with a suspended license, filed Oct. 13.Warren J. Green, 25, of Herman pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Sept. 17. Green was ordered to pay $443.50 in fines and court costs.Corey J. Hilliard was held for court on charges of DUI, furnishing alcohol to minors, underage drinking, criminal mischief, conspiracy, driving with children in the bed of a pickup, reckless driving, driving without rear lights and without an inspection sticker, filed Oct. 3.Alfred F. Oertel, 44, of Chicora waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed Oct. 8.Michael A.
