Alex Scialabba had two triples and Robert Stam delivered the game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh Tuesday night as Meridian edged Center Township, 9-8, in American Legion baseball action at Pullman Park.

Joey Friel contributed two singles, three runs scored and an RBI while Matt Dowdy had a triple, single and two RBI. Cody West had two singles and an RBI.

Winning pitcher Zakk Foringer went the distance on the mound, struck out six and doubled. Hildebrand had two singles and three RBI for Center Township.
