Saxonburg blows out Slippery Rock
Bill Patrick had two doubles, a triple and three runs scored and Neil Sharer a single, double and run scored as Saxonburg routed Slippery Rock 17-4 in American Legion action Thursday.
Cody Beacom picked up the win on the mound for Saxonburg (12-3), allowing three hits and one run over six innings with five strikeouts.
John Maine and Joe Barnhart each singled for Slippery Rock.
