BUFFALO TWP — Lernville Speedway regulars Dave Hess Jr. and Jared Miley won heat races Friday at the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede at the Sarver track Friday night.

Hess Jr. won two heats — late models and modifieds — and Miley, the 2012 late model champion at Lernerville, also won a late model heat.

There 250 cars in 10 divisions at the track Friday.

Racing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday with B-mains and features for all 10 divisions. Pits open at noon for the charity kickball game.
