USCAA Series ongoing at Pullman
Host Penn State-Greater Allegheny won a pair of games to stay alive Tuesday in the USCAA Small College World Series at Pullman Park.
PSU-GA defeated St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) 6-1 and Briarcliffe (NY) 2-1 in the double-elimination tournament. Other games included Penn College defeating Southern Virginia 2-1, Cincinnati-Clermont topping Lindenwood (Ill.) 6-3 and Apprentice besting Selma 7-4.
Four more tourney games are scheduled for today at Pullman, including 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. starts. The championship game is slated for 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
