An Emlenton man died from injuries suffered early Friday morning, May 1, in a one-car crash on Interstate 80 in Clarion Township, Clarion County, according to state police in Clarion.

Edward S. Hilliard, 64, was driving west in a 2017 Toyota Corolla at 2:33 a.m. when the car traveled on to the right shoulder then crossed both lanes and went into the median where it struck an embankment, rolled over and came to a stop off the left shoulder. He was alone in the car, police added.

Hilliard was transported to Clarion Hospital following the crash.
