Real estate tax discount deadline approaching
Residents of Butler, Callery, Connoquenessing, Saxonburg, Valencia and West Sunbury have until Thursday, April 30, to get a 2% discount on their municipal real estate taxes.
According to Butler County Treasurer Diane Marburger, payments must be received at the treasurer’s office by 4:30 p.m. Thursday to receive the discount. Cash, check, money order and credit card payments are accepted.
Mailed tax payments must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2026 and mailed to the Butler County Government Center, Butler County Treasurer’s Office, P.O. Box 1208, Butler, PA 16003. Taxes received with a postmark after April 30 will return to the sender unprocessed.
