Mary Lynn (Burrelli) Nicholas, 58, of Swissvale died Wednesday.

Mary Lynn was a race official at both Lernerville Speedway and Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.

She was a volunteer for Toys for Tots, the Children's Miracle Network and Racers for Tots.

Mary Lynn always thought of others first.

She was the beloved wife of David S. Nicholas for 39 years; dear mother of David Nicholas of Swissvale, Jessica Nicholas, Amy Beachler (Jay) of Penn Hills and Sara Nicholas (Joe) of Penn Hills; and loving daughter of Ralph and Doris (Verbe) Burrelli of North Braddock; and 10 grandchildren. She was the sister of Judy Bowser (Doran) of North Braddock, Ralph Burrelli (Barb) of Sewickley, Donna Gregrich (Gary) of Wexford, Andrea Papula (Dan) of North Braddock, Dean Burrelli of Ohio and Doris Braill (Ron) of North Braddock. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
