Today you should be celebrating your 55th birthday, but there will be no party with family and friends, no birthday cake or presents to mark the passing of another year.

How we wish we could spend this special day with you to celebrate your birthday, but all we have now are our precious memories of you and the 37 years we had with you.

Spring is here and flowers are blooming and everything is turning green again. It reminds us so much of the beautiful spring day you were born.

You were always so full of life and energy and you brought so much love and happiness to your family and friends.

Life goes on without you and time has eased the pain of losing you, but our lives will never be the same without you.

You won't be here today, but we know you'll always be walking beside us every day and our memories of you will keep you near.
