In loving memory of our beloved mother, Mary L. Vero, who passed away one year ago today.

Dear Mom:

It has been one year since your passing and we, your family, miss you more each day.

Now you are with dad and your brothers and sisters.

We miss your morning calls asking "What's on your agenda?" when you really meant, lets go to breakfast and slumming, your euphemism for shopping. You were always ready to go, even in your nineties.

We miss your wonderful cooking and baking, especially the best spaghetti sauce and meatballs. The outstanding Christmas cookies, which we still make in your honor, but the Easter taralles, which we can never duplicate.

But most of all we miss you and your sense of humor and your never-ending love for your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, your family and friends. Helping everyone in need, anyway you could.
