RELIGIOUS ROUNDUP

Craigsville, McKee Chapel and Fenelton United Methodist churches will celebrate Christmas in July in a combined service at 10 a.m. Sunday at McKee Chapel, 349 Fenelton Road, Fenelton.

There will be no Sunday services at Craigsville and Fenelton United Methodist churches and no Sunday school at Fenelton United Methodist Church.

All three churches will have services and Sunday school at their regular times Aug. 3.

Butler Church of the NazareneNancy Cox will present the special music for the Sunday worship service at the Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road.The Sunday school convention will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the district center.Family camp at Mount Chestnut will be from Sunday to Aug. 3 and will include services and activities all day and evening.

Christ Community United MethodistChrist Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will host “Fun in the Sun” from noon to 5 p.m. Friday in the Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park. Christ’s OutreachThe Lifetree Café of Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will show “To Frack or Not To Frack … An Informative Hour of Respectful Conversation” at 7 p.m. today.

Community Life ChurchCommunity Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary SchoolThe Rev. Scott Fletcher of Reaching East Asia with the Commission of Christ will give the message Sunday.The Hit the Streets Team will not meet tonight. The team will meet at 6 p.m. July 31 at the YWCA parking lot.

Covenant PresbyterianThe noisy offering of loose change will be received Sunday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.A picnic for elders and their families will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the pavilion at Jennings Environmental Education Center, Brady Township.

East Butler PresbyterianEast Butler Presbyterian Church, 9th and Randolph streets, will worship in a combined service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 North Butler Church Road, Chicora. Special music by Sowing Seeds will be included and a picnic will follow the service. There will be no service at East Butler Presbyterian Church.

First BaptistThere will be a 6 p.m. evening service Sunday, as well as regular Sunday services and Sunday school, at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St.

Grace @ Calvary LutheranGrace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Grace @ Calvary, 123 E. Diamond St.

GraceWayGraceWay meets each Sunday morning for worship at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.Mackenzie Mead and Beth Ackleson will provide the special music Sunday.

Hill United PresbyterianThe Music, Art and Drama Camp will present the musical “Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.” as part of worship services this weekend at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Meridian United PresbyterianThe sewing group of Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.

New Life Christian MinistriesThe third Believe Gathering will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg. St. John’s United Church of ChristCalled to Care ministers will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City,The annual pulled pork sandwich and corn roast dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 8.August consistory reports are due Friday morning.

St. Luke’s LutheranSt. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will have the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service outdoors on the patio.German visitors from St. Albani Church will be at St. Luke’s host homes next week.
