Gremlins grab 71-51 hoop win

Karns City used a 28-point third quarter to pull away from host Union in a 71-51 boys basketball victory Tuesday night.

Gremlins' sophomore forward Nathan Waltman tallied a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds and teammate Austin Fahlor added 15 points and six assists.

KC's Chase Beighley led all scorers with 18 points as the Gremlins improved to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in league play.

Union was paced by Caden Rainey's 14 points.
