William Stewart Proper
William Stewart Proper, 50, of Cranberry Township died Friday.
He was born May 3, 1961, in Latrobe, a son of John C. and Helen Newill Proper of Donegal, Westmoreland County.
He was employed as an accountant for Gosiger Inc. in Warrendale.
Bill was a lifelong member of the Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Donegal, where he was baptized and confirmed in his faith.
He was a 1979 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and an alumnus of Thiel College, Greenville, where he was a member of Phi Theta Phi fraternity and the Walk chairman in 1982 for Children's Hospital.
Bill enjoyed watching his two sons participate in football.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mary Rose Thomas Proper; two sons, John S. and Richard W. Proper, both at home; two sisters, Holly Bryan (Dr. Henry) of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., and Bonnie Viazanko (Bill) of LaGrange, Ky.; his beloved nieces, Alana, Alexa and Megan; a nephew, Aaron; aunts, Martha Hood and Sara McNeil; and cousins, Rex and Ray Hood and Don McNeil.
<B>PROPER</B> — There will be no visitation. A memorial service for William Stewart Proper, who died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Donegal, with Rev.
