Police: Valencia man groped woman at bonfire
A Valencia man is accused of groping a woman at a bonfire on Crossvale Street.
Matthew Frederick Lange, 36, was charged Saturday, April 18, with misdemeanor indecent assault following an incident Saturday.
Police said they were dispatched Saturday to a Crossvale Street home and interviewed the woman. The woman told police she and her aunt had met a group of men at a Sheetz in Adams Township. Police said one of the men, later identified as Lange, called the woman “beautiful and short” and made threatening comments toward her.
Police said the group then went to the bonfire on Crossvale Street. The woman told police Lange continuously groped her breast and would not let her go while in the backyard.
Lange’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. April 29 before District Judge Amy Marcinkiewicz. He’s represented by attorney David Shrager of Shrager Defense Attorneys.
