Alice M. Bruner, 97, of Carmel, Ind., died Wednesday, June 11.

She was born Nov. 15, 1910, to Jacob and Margaret Fisher Shaner in Mercer County.

Alice graduated in 1931 from Slippery Rock Normal College.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Bruner.

Alice is survived by two daughters, Jean Clark and Ruth Daughtery; and a son, Carl Bruner.
