Jefferson, Jackson Township residents may be eligible for financial aid for home rehabilitation

Residents of Jefferson and Jackson Townships who are looking to complete critical home repairs may be able to take advantage of Homeowner-Occupied Rehabilitation Programs, which provide grants to qualifying homeowners for essential repairs.
Qualifying homeowners in each township must own and occupy their home, meet income eligibility requirements and meet other program guidelines. Income limits may vary by household size, with the limit set at $60,100 for a one-person household.
Qualifying repairs include structural repairs, roofing, windows, plumbing and heating.
