The first Butler County Wrestling Clinic will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 9 to 12 at Alameda Park.

The clinic, open to wrestlers ages 10 to 18, is sponsored by Slippery Rock and Butler High schools and will be conducted by varsity coaches Fred Powell and Scott Stoner.

Registration fee is $40. Participants can register the night of the clinic or by logging onto mrspowell.com.

Lyndora Lancers will hold registration at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highfield Park for players in grades 10 through 12 interested in playing in the fall baseball league.The nonrefundable registration fee is $150 and practice will follow the signups.
