Seneca Valley softball rallies late
Maura Pasquale had a clutch two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to put the Seneca Valley softball team ahead in a 4-3 win over Pine-Richland Thursday afternoon.
Pasquale's hit drove home Izzy Roule and Madison Hans.
Claire Zimmerman got the win for the Raiders.

Mackenzie Dunn got the win in the circle and also tripled and drove in two.

Knoch 14, North Catholic 11 — Bailey Rickenbrode hit a pair of home runs as the Knights won this slugfest over the Trojanettes.
Baseball
Braden Tristani's walk-off RBI hit lifted Knoch to a 6-5 win over Deer Lakes at Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park.
Eli Sutton had a double, single and two RBI and Jack Bartek also drove in two runs for the Knights (2-0).
Sean McGill also doubled for Knoch.
Guy DeLeonardis pitched a scoreless seventh inning for the win.
Knoch will travel to Mars Friday afternoon.
Boys Volleyball
Carson Stein had 55 digs as Butler squandered a 2-0 lead but won the fifth game for a 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 23-25, 15-10 win over North Catholic.
Dennis Goodwine had 12 kills and Logan Donnel 10 kills for the Golden Tornado (1-1).
