United Way sets annual meeting
BUTLER TWP — The United Way of Butler County will have its annual meeting at 7:30 a.m. June 20 in Founders Hall at Butler County Community College.
Leslie Osche, executive director, and Jennifer Roxbury, a vice president with Farmer’s National Bank of Emlenton, who is this year’s campaign chairman, will talk about the state of the United Way, its member organizations and the 2011-12 fundraising campaign.
Leadership Butler County, a nine-month long educational program for county residents and business leaders, will have its graduation then.
Also, the United Way will honor a top educator from each of the county’s school districts, Slippery Rock University, BC3, Butler County Vocational-Technical School, and a county preschool with the annual Red Apple Awards.
